Coordinate and execute the administrative and operational processes that support the daily operations of Hope’s Closet® Ministry, maintaining focus on The Church of Eleven22® vision of being a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Minister of the gospel   
• Capture meeting minutes and provide follow-up support for Assistant Manager – Operations with action steps for the management team
• Enter and revise weekly schedules into the payroll system  
• Conduct serve staff orientations  
• Maintain associate files and records  
• Prepare weekly sales reports for management teams  
• Calendaring store (orientations/training, new hires, interviews, team meetings, store audits, serve staff)   
• Assist in preparing the serve staff appreciation events and coordinate food for serve staff for sales events  
• Admin support in supply ordering, store receipts and invoices  
• Coordinate serve staff recruiting plans for serve events
• Supports serve staff phone calls, court-mandated hours/letters and forms, groups who have been recruited, scheduled serve staff orientations  
• Assist in caring for and discipleship of staff and serve staff – i.e., birthdays, serve staff of the month, serve staff care, tracking serve staff hours   
• Partner with Assistant Manager – Operations on any store communications and operation needs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 years of administrative or support experience  
• Experience in a retail environment strongly preferred    
• High school diploma required  
• Bachelor’s degree preferred  

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a part-time, non-exempt position that reports to the Assistant Manager - Operations. Days may vary by week due to the needs of the store and events however, hours typically are from 8am-5pm.  

The church has several big events, (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of The Church of Eleven22 and Hope’s Closet. These events are encouraged for all Hope’s Closet staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional retail environment which includes both sales floor, offices and warehouse/stockrooms. This role mainly uses office equipment like computers, copiers, printers and phones. One to two days of the week may assist on the sales floor with cash registers, clothing racks and retail equipment.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Stand or walk on concrete flooring for prolonged time periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs. grasp, reach, push and pull materials and walk on uneven surfaces and stairs.
