QA Manager for Wholesale Bakery
Responsibilities and Duties
• Will oversee the development, implementation, review and maintenance of the GMP system including food safety fundamentals.
• Will be responsible to take appropriate action to ensure the integrity of the GMP system
• Will walk with inspectors during audit and other inspections.
• Implement and maintain GDSN
Qualifications and Skills
• Must be able to communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the SQF system. This includes employee training.
• Have completed HACCP training course.
• Have an understanding of the GMP and/or SQF food safety code for manufacturing and the requirements to implement and maintain an SQF system relevant to the site's scope of certification.
• GMP and/or SQF certification preferred
• Previous experience in implementing a GDSN program
• Previous experience in creating nutritional labels (Using Genesis software)
• Previous experience with a GMP and/or SQF audit
• background or education in microbiology is preferred
• bi lingual (Spanish) is a plus
