PLUMBERS WANTED $15 to $25 HOURLY RATE

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems

• Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)

• Install and maintain water supply systems

• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)

• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.

• Repair domestic appliances (e.g. washing machines) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.

• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems

Skills:

• Proven experience as a plumber

• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings

• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)

• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (sewer cameras, K-60, whirlybird etc.)

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Friendly with a great deal of patience

• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.

We have a ON CALL list which is mandatory (1) week out of the month (Monday to Friday after 5:00pm to 9:00 pm and 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Saturday and Sunday). This will require you to work after hours to do emergency calls. If we have an overflow of service calls that we do not have time to do during normal business hours. You may be asked to do those jobs while you are on call, after hours or the weekend. We do understand life happens, so if there is an issue, we are willing to work around certain events.
