DISPATCH ASSISTANT

Job Type: Full Time/Hourly

Pay: $16.00-18.00 per hour

We’re looking to hire a responsible DISPATCHER ASSISTANT for our Secaucus office. As a dispatch assistant, you will be assisting dispatchers who track drivers delivering freight for some of the largest and well-known retailers and e-commerce companies in the world.. Starting pay is $16.00-$18.00 per hour. Must have some weekend availability.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Dispatch logistics services to drivers as required and establishes priorities on calls to ensure services are rendered expeditiously
• Willing to train the right person who has amazing proficiency of the Microsoft office suite to oversee delivery drivers
• Operates our Xcelerator Information System to verify accurate client information
• Maintain active computer entries regarding updates and complaints
• Must have the ability to work in a fast pace multifaceted environment
• You will possess exceptional organizational skills and know the surrounding geography
• Position requires an effective communicator written and verbal as the position will work with our internal as well as external clients
• Weekends and Holidays may be part of your schedule
