Alliance Workforce Orlando is currently looking for Cashiers to work at the Florida Mall food court. A Cashier, or Retail Cashier, is responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions, utilizing a cash register with point-of-sale system in a retail environment. Their duties include balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, processing returns and scanning items for sale, food handling, maintaining a clean and sanitize work environment, customer service. Job Type: Full Time - Temp to Hire

Shift: First Shift 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Second Shift - 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Availability: Monday - Sunday (You have the option to work 5+ days)

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr.

Required Dress: Black socks, pants and closed toe shoes (Must be non-slip shoes).

Responsibilities:

• Process sales transactions
• Calculate the cost of products or services
• Accept payments
• Calculate and return change when required by the payment method
• Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
• Answer customer questions about products or services
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
• Report issues with equipment
• Work as a team to meet store sales goals
• Handle customer complains
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout area
• Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements and product information

Skills
