We seek an individual to work alongside owner / operator and eventually take over all aspects of day to day operations of our company. This individual must possess the following qualities. Strong communication skills - You meet with and speak with clients and crew on a daily basis. It's important that you make yourself fully understood. You must be capable of speaking and reading / writing English, and the ability to speak and understand Spanish would be seen as a plus. Organizational skills - It is the Operations Manager's responsibility to complete the day's work in a timely, cost effective, and conscientious manner. Horticulture skills - You must have 2 years experience in the lawn maintenance and landscape industry. A horticultural background would be seen as a plus. Driving skills - You must possess a clean and valid FL driver's license or be able to transfer within 30 days. Experience with driving / backing a trailer is a plus. Willingness to work hard - You will be expected to work 40 (or more) hours per week in a very hot, humid and sometimes rainy climate.
